I'm currently having the singing/songwriting time of my
life with Trinity. We're an acoustic trio featuring yours truly along with Amy McFarland and Ted Forbes, both experienced pros and great friends.
We've been at it since the spring of 2008. With a combination of our originals and unique covers we aim to keep the place
jumping and have a really great time in the process. I'm still pulling out some of my older originals like Crying and Then,
Isn't Love Crazy, House in a Dream, Tattered Red, along with some newer stuff like Its Starting Up Again and Someone's Walking. Ted has some great tunes of his own and just like
mine....they're Trinity's now.
A new musical
venture has come along to supplement Trinity....Chasing Amy, a five piece rock outfit
consisting of Ted Forbes and Steve Brun on guitar,
Bruce Tabor on bass and I'm on the drums....and of course, Amy, rocking the place and having a great time. Mark a date and get out to see the band soon.
Elaine and the Biscaynes are
on an undefined hiatus...time to take a short break in the action. The band has been a staple of the Cincinnati music scene
for the past 25 years...and along the way the Biscaynes have earned two CAMMY awards, first in 2000 and again in 2001. All
the Biscaynes....Elaine Diehl, Ted Forbes (guitar
& vocals), Rick Schalk (keys & vocals),
Jan Diehl (bass & vocals), and myself were featured on several tracks on Elaine's
first solo CD, Different Drum, which came out December 2007. It
continues to get airplay so please call or email requests to:
WNKU 89.7 FM, 859-572-7897
And thank you WNKU for your support. Different Drum is available online at AMAZON.COM or BORDERS Tri-County, Eastgate or Northgate.
Booking and contact info for both Trinity and the Biscaynes can
be found on my Contact page.
From 1999 until September
of 2006 I was part of the acoustic group Diamond Blue and we released two CDs during
my tenure, In the Rough(2002) and Facets(2004). I contributed songs, vocals, guitar and drum tracks for the CDs, which are available
at local bookstores and music outlets (Cincinnati area) as well as CDNOW (Amazon) and of course Diamond Blue performances.
